Suavely compered by Harriet and Elia, the annual awards night was a gala
celebration. Almost everybody went home with

| Recent Results - Metro East Sprints |

Congratulations to Nick Rickard and Lily Potocnik who achieved excellent results at the Metro East Sprint Meet on the 28th of January in the outdoor pool at MSAC. This was a qualifying meet for the Victorian Sprint Championships. Results • Records |
| 2007 Combined Club Championships |
 |
The 2007 club championships are to be held in conjunction with Richmond and Northcote swim clubs on the 10th of March at Richmond Recreation Centre, 6pm warm-up for a 6.30 start. Program • Entry Form
The committee of each participating swim club was aware that the event is scheduled during the Labour Day long weekend which may preclude some swimmers from attending. However, it was the only date the Richmond pool was available between the All Juniors competition and the FINA world championships training. If you are unable to attend, please notify Tony. |

Ocean Swims
Over summer, intrepid members of the Club have been enjoying some open water swims. David, Linton, Alexandra and Rowan Nash entered the Sunday Age Swim Challenge and were featured in the Sunday Age on the 5th of February. Jack and Cliff Rundle swum several events too, while Lily and Simon Potocnik swam in one. It’s great to see families enjoying these swimming events together. |

| Great Victorian Bike Ride |
 |
Congratulations to Jack Rundle and Kirsty O’Loghlen who have taken cross training to an extreme level by riding in the 2005 Great Victorian Bike Ride. This is an outstanding achievement by Jack and Kirsty and they should now have the strongest legs in the whole swim club. |
| CSC and the World Swim For Malaria |
 |
On Friday the 2nd of December club members were asked for a gold coin donation for the World Swim for Malaria, which is a global fund raising initiative to buy bed nets for African children to sleep under. Our club generously donated $66 and that will provide almost 10 bed nets. |
