On Saturday, March 12 at Thomastown Community Centre, a glittering occasion was enjoyed by the cream of Metro North swimming as they stood in the spotlight receiving their age championship awards and public acknowledgment of new records set during the 2004 season.

The swimmers and their families enjoyed a meal from the carvery that punctuated the presentations, as did the rockin' 70's music pumped out by DJ Flaming Mo. Anyone who has not experienced the sound of John Denver with bass set at 10 (or beyond) on the dial, hasn't lived.
