The Swimming year starts May 1st, and this year it’s even easier to join, or to renew your existing Club Membership!

To join Collingwood Swimming Club, or to renew your existing Membership, head to www.swimmingvictoria.org.au and click on the “Members Portal” (you’ll find the link on the right hand side of the Swimming Victoria Home Page).

Once there, you can renew your existing membership by selecting “Existing Members”*, or sign up as a New club Member by choosing “New Members”. It’s easy to join and pay online (don’t forget to select Collingwood as your Club).

* Existing members should have received an email with their pre-entered Swim On-Line User Name and Password. This will enable you to log in directly and complete your membership renewal, modify your details, etc. If you are a first time member just follow the instructions after choosing "New Member".

This year we have amended our Membership structure slightly, to ensure that all Member’s are covered by Swimming Victoria’s Insurance, and are able to compete, if they choose, in sanctioned events.

We have introduced a new category “Novice Member” which is a great way for our young first-timers to try out Club Membership! As a Novice Member you get to come along to our Club Nights, where you will meet and swim with heaps of other kids your age. We organize fun events, including social events too. If you’d like to try out a taste of Competition, then as a Novice you’ll also get to participate in some fun inter-club events if you want to.

If you have more than one family member in the Club, there are family discounts applicable too.

Full Member (Competitor)

 Membership would apply to any member who competes in organised competition within or outside club (e.g. interclub, district, state, national competitions).
Family Full Member (Competitor)
$100
 This membership applies to a Full Member where there is more than one Club member from the same family where the member competes in organised competition within or outside club (e.g. interclub, district, state, national competitions).
Novice Member
(Learn to Swim)
$60
 Membership would apply to a child undertaking learn to swim or introductory training and competes inside the club and limited events outside of club nights. This category can only be used for a 12 month period for any one member.
Family Novice Member (Learn to Swim)
$50
 This membership applies to a Novice Member where there is more than one Club member from the same family. Membership would apply to a child undertaking learn to swim or introductory training and competes inside the club and limited events outside of club nights. This category can only be used for a 12 month period for any one member.
Non-Competitor Member
(Non Competitor)
$55
 Any member who does not fall into the competitor, learn to swim, qualified official or life member categories e.g. committee members, parents, coaches, etc or swimmers which have completed their 12 month learn to swim registration but are not swimming in organised competition within or outside club.
