Spring Interclub
Congratulations to all our swimmers at this event. A great team effort and excellent results for Collingwood Swimming Club with two teams, Senior 1 and Junior 3, runners up and all other teams competing well.
A huge thank you to everyone involved; our coach and bus driver, Tony, our assistant coach, Joseph, our team co-ordinator, Jeff, all our team mangers, time keepers, parents and especially our swimmers.
Our swimmers not only performed well in the pool. Their behaviour during marshalling was excellent and they were full of support for each other. There was a great atmosphere within our team, which made the event a lot of fun. Having all swims in the same pool and the junior and senior teams sitting together helped strengthen the team spirit.

2005 Tasmanian
Open Championships
Lewin Eddy flew the Collingwood flag at
the Tattersall's Hobart Aquatic Centre on 28th-30th January. He
was part of group of Yarra based swimmers including members of
Richmond SC and Firbank Aquastars. The participants went for the
experience of competing in a Senior/Open State-level meeting, as
well as, of course, to enjoy the many wonderful things that Tasmania
has to offer.
It was a great success and an excellent
way to end the school holidays!
Lewin gained greatly from the experience
and qualified for several finals, as listed below:
| Open |
400m Fr 7th, 200m Fr 7th, 200m
Bk 8th,
200m IM 16th, 100m fly 18th |
